KM COMMUNITY CENTER LISTENING SESSION APRIL 14TH!! Our planning team is making wonderful progress on the new Community Center at the Magee Campus and will start offering programming for the 2026-27 school year. As part of this process, we are looking for input from our KM Community on offerings and schedules that most appeal to you. Please visit: kmsd.edu/kmcc to learn more about this venture and attend the listening session on April 14th in the KM Perform Community Room from 5-6pm to share your thoughts. This discussion is open to everyone, residents and non-residents of all ages, who may be interested in utilizing the Community Center. Pre-school, senior and adult programming are an important part of this planning, so please share this with family and friends who do not currently have children in school. Community vitality thrives when learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. At Kettle Moraine, we see education as a lifelong journey—one that is enriched by recreation, connection, and shared experiences across generations. By intentionally designing programs that meet real community needs, we are creating spaces where learning feels natural, accessible, and welcoming. That belief is shaping the vision for the new KM Community Center at the Magee Campus.

LASER LADIES OF STEM AT MILWAUKEE TOOL!!! The ladies had an inspiring visit to Milwaukee Tool this week. They were welcomed by a group of talented women who shared their personal journeys and passion for engineering, offering a firsthand look at what it’s like to build a career in STEM. During the visit, students toured and received a sneak peak into the company’s Rapid Prototyping Lab, took part in hands-on, STEM-focused activities and were led on a fascinating tour that highlighted the growth of this amazing company. The hands-on tool use was a great experience for all. They were introduced to the concept of “disruptive innovation”—not just improving existing tools, but transforming how they work altogether. The group also explored how advances in artificial intelligence are shaping the future of tools, allowing them to respond more intuitively to users. The highlight of the trip was a Q&A session with a panel of female engineers. Our students asked thoughtful, insightful questions about career paths and decision-making, demonstrating both maturity and strong critical thinking skills. It was a proud moment to see their curiosity and confidence on display.
