9/11 TRIBUTE!!! Friday night, KM football took on Sussex Hamilton in a special 9/11 Tribute. The stands were packed, and the evening included a special 25th Anniversary Memorial, with Kenzie Burkee singing the National Anthem. The Laser Locker still has t-shirts available if you missed it. HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITY!!! The Kettle Moraine School District is committed to regularly evaluating and strengthening our curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of our students and community. Each subject area undergoes a comprehensive five-year review process. During the 2026–2027 school year, Human Growth and Development will be reviewed for programming serving students in upper elementary, middle school, and high school. Committee members should be willing to share perspectives, ask questions, consider diverse viewpoints, and help develop appropriate student programming. The committee will work under the direction of the Kettle Moraine School Board and Dr. Steve Plum, Superintendent. The committee of 15-20 randomly selected with representation from each category, will be led by Brian Adamczyk, Curriculum Leader for Health & Physical Education and Chris Otto, Chief Academic Officer.
If you are interested in being part of this important conversation and helping shape the future of Human Growth and Development education in Kettle Moraine, we invite you to submit your name for consideration.
Committee members will participate in several meetings throughout the 2026–2027 school year. The process will culminate in a final report and recommendations presented to the Kettle Moraine School Board for consideration and approval in May 2027.

9/11 T-SHIRT FLASH SALE AND TRIBUTE EVENT!!! Join us Friday night as KM football takes on Sussex Hamilton at 7pm for a 9/11 Tribute and Military Appreciation Night. The evening will include a special 25th Anniversary Memorial, with Kenzie Burkee singing the National Anthem. To commemorate the event, the Laser Locker will host a flash sale of Never Forget shirts for $25 on Thursday from 9 - 5 and Friday from 12–7. Shirts are available in youth through adult sizes, and quantities are limited. All profits will be donated to a local veterans’ organization. Tot & Me is designed specifically for little ones and their favorite grown-ups to bond through the magic of early literacy with: Unstructured Play - Explore age-appropriate toys and look at our great selection of library books with your child before and after the session. (Doors open at 10:30). Structured Activity - Experience a song, story, and craft or movement game. (10:45 AM – 11:15 AM). You can stay and explore until 1pm. NEW COMMUNITY PROGRAM MANAGER!!! Fabian Klein brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning education, technology, customer success, program development, and organizational leadership. "As a longtime Lake Country resident, educator, community volunteer, KM parent, and our boys head soccer coach, Fabian brings a unique combination of educational, business, and community experience to this new role," said Athletic Director, Drew Stemm. In his new role, Fabian will help lead community education and recreation initiatives, including youth athletics and the new KM Community Center at the Magee Campus, which will open in October. “I’m excited to serve the Kettle Moraine community by bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and making a lasting positive impact across the communities and municipalities that make our district such a special place,” said Klein. Welcome Fabian!
The Kettle Moraine Budget Advisory Council (KMBAC) is entering its fifth year and is seeking current KM parents, citizens/taxpayers, community partners, and local business owners to help build understanding of district finances and operations and serve as critical friends to the district.
