Magee held their back to school bash tonight and families were lined up excitedly to enjoy the fun! There was a bounce house, music by DJ Otto, an ice cream truck, face painting and a number of great raffle baskets. Thank you to the PTO, families, and staff members who participated in this event!
Cushing held their playground grand opening tonight, with well over 150 people in attendance. This accessible and adventurous playground was designed with student input and was only made possible through the hard work of Cushing Staff, PTO, parents, and of course our KMSD maintenance crew who spent many long days this summer installing the equipment and preparing the area. We are so proud of what has been accomplished and want to thank our KM Community for their donations and support as we developed this incredible project!
KMMS Orientation took place last night and it was a huge hit with families and students alike. This year, students received their locks in advance to get used to them prior to the big day. This made for a very smooth transition as families were able to avoid the lines, visit, drop off supplies, and explore the school. Special thanks to the middle school staff who attended this event!
The KMHS parking lot is a lot more colorful! Students were allowed to paint their parking spots this year, and it resulted in some very fun and funny designs... like "If you can read this, I am late for school!" Let's give the kids a hand for their creativity!
