MENTORING IS ELECTRIC!!! Mrs Olson's 8th grade Computer Science class just completed their circuits unit which elaborated on careers in electrical engineering and as electricians. Mr Lirette from Pieper Power visited the class to share his career as an electrician. He showed students the various wiring he works with, as well as breaking down the contents of his truck and explaining the tools of the trade. He also discussed the importance of safety and the precautions that must be taken when working with electricity. His presentation put our circuit unit into perspective for our students and helped them gain a better understanding of future opportunities in this industry.

COLLABORATION AT KM!!! Mrs Blawat’s fifth grade class shared their Civil War cospaces.com projects/escape rooms with Mr. B. Bestor’s 10th grade Modern World History students. It was a great opportunity for younger students to share their learning and solicit feedback, while older students develop the important skill of mentoring.

KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th from 9-12! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. ART & ICE CREAM MAY 20TH 5-7PM! This KM Global Capstone event at KMHS will display student artwork and hold an ice cream social selling Culver's custard. SIGNING DAY TODAY!!!! Today was our spring and military signing day, along with some academic/athletic awards. Eric Larson, Tyson Grunewald, Elijah Kolstad-Woods, and Connor Price committed to military service. Emilia Bullock, Anna Williamson, Jack Wagner, Jonah Roloff, Reed Burns, Ian Roman, Amelia Monyelle, Zak Sokolowski, Anna Sueflohn and Taylor Ford committed to colleges. This production combines many of Ella's beliefs and passions into the pieces you will see, and she is excited to be able to fundraise for LifeStriders in Waukesha. SPRING ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR THIS SATURDAY!!! KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. A total parking lot resurfacing begins Sunday, June 2, 2024.
As a result, all students and most staff will need to park on the south side of the building. The northeast staff lot remains open. In addition, the most northern entrance, near the track, will also be closed.
Students with parking passes should be able to find adequate parking in the south lot as senior graduation occurs on Saturday, June 1st.
Lasers Defeat Arrowhead 1-0 on Community & Youth Night!
When the KM cheer squad greets fans before the game, Captain Laser throws out the first pitch, and Jr Lasers are on the field for the National Anthem, you know it will be a great night! And it was just that for the KM Community!
Kaiden Ascher (‘24) was dominant on the mound, throwing a complete game four-hit shutout to lead the Lasers to victory over Arrowhead on Monday night. Ascher struck out five and walked only one to earn the win. JJ Wolbert (‘24) scored the game's only run in the third inning on a base hit by Scott Brown (‘24).
Thank you to all the community members and youth players who came out to WBC Park to support KM. Because of generous donations made by local businesses, KM Baseball raised nearly $1000 for the program.
