SHOOT FOR THE CURE SUCCESS!!! KM's annual fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma drew a tremendous response from our elementary and middle school students. This year, a number of players from the Marquette University mens team helped run the camp, adding a great deal of excitement for students as they went head-to-head with future stars. ART AWARDS!!! Pewaukee Area Arts Council Hosted an online Art Gallery Called Showcase of Art and seven KMHS students competed. The Young People's Art Exhibit Senior Division pieces will be on display during State Fair. Salem Gaugert and Ava Prokop - Lenz both had 1st place finishes. Other entrants include: Cadence Glinecki, Lydia Wilhelm, Ellie Smiley, Melody Reddignton, and Owen Fouts.

KM SHARK TANK!!! Ms. Kirby and Mr. Ksobiech (Mr. Dellis's student teacher) collaborated by having marketing students evaluate biomedical innovations. The Marketing students observed presentations, provided peer reviews, and voted on which project would receive funding. The Shark Tank winners were Kylee and Ryker!

FORMER KM COACH AND TEACHER INDUCTED INTO NATIONAL WRESTLING HALL OF FAME!!! Former high school wrestling coach Greg Aprahamian will be inducted, posthumously into the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Aprahamian was a coach and teacher at Kettle Moraine High School. He strengthened the KM wrestling program during his tenure, by recruiting students from football and track, leading to their first and only Classic 8 Conference championship. During his time at KM, he coached 10 state placements and one state champion, solidifying his reputation as a program builder. CULINARY COMPETITION!!! Two representatives from the Wisconsin Army National Guard led a culinary competition in Mrs. Jordan's Foods for Life classes. Students combined military MRE's, additional supplies, and classroom knowledge to create culinary masterpieces and present them to the judges. We have some very creative students at KM!

REGISTER FOR SUMMER ACADEMY TODAY!!! Students will be able to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 16-July 3 and session two will run July 7-July 25. Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. GIRLS BASKETBALL ACADEMIC ALL STATE!!! Lola Bond, Alexa Darin, Emily Gomez, Lauren Kowalski, Amelia Lephardt, Keegan Lodes, Quinn Lodes, Gina Mbunte, Mollie Montalbano, and Avery Sallmann have all earned Academic All State recognition. Congratulations ladies!


LASER TECH AND LASER BOTS AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! In a fantastic conclusion, KM’s FTC Robotics teams, “Laser Bots” and “Laser Tech” both competed very well at the Wisconsin State Championships on March 8 at Milwaukee School of Engineering. “Laser Bots” had a deep playoff run and was the recipient of the prestigious “Design Award” for their team’s robot. Meanwhile, “Laser Tech” reached the tournament Finals for the second consecutive year and had the second-highest ranking Autonomous performance of the 28 teams competing in the tournament. Both Laser Bots and Laser Tech were among the top seven scoring teams at State. Congratulations Laser Bots and Laser Tech for your resilience, innovation and teamwork throughout the long Robotics season!
