CULINARY IMMERSION GLOBAL FIELD TRIP!!! Northern Italy – March 2026! Join us for an informational meeting on Tuesday, December 10 from 6:00-7:00 pm or Thursday, January 23 from 6:00-7:00 pm in Room 231 (KM Global Discovery Room). Interested students must attend one informational session with a parent/guardian. Students must have completed or be enrolled in Foods for Life (KMHS students) and/or Travel Seminar (KM Global students) by March 2026 if they would like to attend. Join KM High School and KM Global for an extraordinary culinary journey through the heart of Italy’s gastronomic legacy on our school trip to Parma, Modena, Bologna, and Rimini! Students will have the opportunity to visit local farms, factories, and historic food markets, to learn from artisans and chefs. TWO KM STUDENTS QUALIFY AS NATIONAL MERIT SEMI-FINALISTS!!! Bridget Duffy of KMHS and Madeline Bruss of KM Global are recognized with this academic distinction. The counseling team will assist these students with the next step in the competition, which is applying for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

KM GLOBAL SPRING SHOWCASE IS TONIGHT MAY 29TH!!!! Join us for this wonderful end-of-year open-house event. Students will present their capstone projects at Kettle Moraine High School from 5:30-7:30pm. Ask questions and help to prepare these young leaders and entrepreneurs for future success.

ART AND ICE CREAM FUNDRAISER!!! Art Show & Ice Cream Social | KMHS | 5.20.24 | 5-7 pm! This KM Global Capstone event will display artwork from students all over the district. Not only will student art be displayed, but there will also be an ice cream social in the cafeteria where people can purchase Culver's custard. It is free to get in, but donations are greatly appreciated. The funds raised will be donated to Hands of Hope, an organization that works to provide education, healthcare, and clean water to people in Zambia, Africa. CONTEMPORARY DANCE CAPSTONE FUNDRAISER!!! The show will be held in the KMHS Auditorium on Friday, May 17th at 6 pm. Cost $12 per ticket. Ella Mathison of KM Global is using her senior capstone to combine her passion for dance with a desire to help others. She has produced a contemporary dance show called "The Beauty of Mistakes." This production combines many of Ella's beliefs and passions into the pieces you will see, and she is excited to be able to fundraise for LifeStriders in Waukesha. KM GLOBAL STUDENT RAISES MONEY FOR UKRAINE!!
Jack Curty, a competitive fencer at Ataba Fencing Club and KM Global senior, would like to invite you to his Senior Capstone, Fencing for Ukraine. At KM Global, each senior is required to conduct a capstone project which is a student-led community service project that aims to raise money for either a local or global purpose. For Jack's capstone, he decided to use his love of fencing to support the millions of families displaced by the war in Ukraine. All proceeds will go to the charity organization CARE, which sends support directly into Ukraine and neighboring countries in the form of food, medical supplies, humanitarian aid packages and more.
GLOBAL ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR!!! KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. Students get the opportunity to build a community event to benefit a local organization. 100% of the proceeds from this event (from vendor fees, donations, food truck partnerships, etc.) will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!!! Several foreign exchange students need host families for the 24/25 school year at KMHS. We have two girls, Freiya, 15, from Germany and Karen, 16, from Chile. Since it first hatched in 1993, Stiles & Drewe's musical, Honk!, has winged its way around the world in over 8,000 productions and in many different languages. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Musical, this heartwarming celebration of being different is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit and memorable score. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be. With its bouncing score and universal story, this touching musical with plenty of heart will captivate audiences of all ages.
